the book theif

I am reading the book "The book thief " by Marcus Zusac. So far I have to say that it is a great book is really good. The [part i am in now is about Liesil, when she starts to steal things. The first thing that she steals is a book. Now the very first book that she steals is a book called the Gravediggers Handbook. You can tell that it is about how to be a gravedigger and whatnot. She asks her foster father to help her learn how to read. When he teaches her, she finds a love for books and reading. Only problem is, her parents do not have enough money to go around buying her books all the time. So the only thing she can do is steal the books. Now how Liesil steals her books is a little different. In Nazi Germany the Germans liked to burn things, one of them, books. and so at the end of the fire when the guards are cleaning everything up from the fire, she would sneak in and take books that the guards were going to throw away and use them for her reading. The books that she would find are ones that were not quite burned. they never really made it too the fire. So Liesil took advantage of the situation and took those books. Now she didn't just steal books, her parents fed her, but not enough to satisfy. So when she had the chance, her and her friend Rudy would go with a group of kids to a farm, and they would sneak over the fence and take apples, and potatoes, so they could no longer be hungry. And those are the things Liesil is stealing. I think that she will continue, because her parents are not in good business with their jobs. So it only makes sence for Liesil to keep stealing to feed herself.
